About the project

Power from the Landscape is a LEADER funded project aiming to provide information, advice and practical help to potential micro hydro site owners/groups (and interested parties) that enable them to develop plans for micro hydro generation in the South Pennines.

The project objectives and team members are entirely independent - we are not affiliated to any one technology, supplier, installer etc. We provide impartial advice and information that enables site owners to make informed decisions on their projects.

We have good working relationships with many manufacturers and installers and sometimes provide information from commercial organisations direct to our interested parties (experience is a valuable commodity). However descriptions of, or references to, products or publications does not imply endorsement of that product or publication - please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.

If you would like to get in touch, please do not hesitate to contact us
